Analysis:

The California Bears do a lot well that make them attractive to bet on. They get to the free throw line at elite rate (33.2%), and also convert well when they get there (75.1%). They are the 39th best offensive rebounding team and 64th best at the rim, as well. Most impressively, they limit opponents to the 18th fewest three point attempts in the nation and force the 22nd most midrange on defense.

They have been very unlucky in conference play, shooting 26% from behind the arc and watching opponents shoot 39% against them from deep. SQ expected them to beat Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and Clemson, recently. This is a distinct buy low on this team that will play the right way and could make this line look silly if the regression catches up to the strong process they play every possession with.
