PREVIEW: The Sacramento Kings will host the New Orleans Pelicans in a matchup between two of the league's most struggling franchises. The Kings remain the worst team in the Western Conference with just 14 wins and 49 losses , while the Pelicans sit in 13th place with a record of 19 wins and 44 losses. The Pelicans have significantly improved their level of play lately and managed to secure several surprising victories, posting a record of six wins and four losses in the last 10 games. The Kings have lost 18 of their last 20 games , a stark contrast that sets the stage for this encounter at the Golden 1 Center. The Pelicans won the first head-to-head meeting this season against the Kings with a convincing 120-94 victory. Both sides tend to focus more on offense and play an attack-oriented style of basketball, and with no real pressure on them, defensive effort is unlikely to be at a high level.
