Analysis:

KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid. ShotQuality has these teams both in the top 150 teams, and very near to even in the adjusted ShotQuality rankings. Davidson was expected to lose to Providence and see much tighter margins of victory over both VMI and Bowling Green. They do not force turnovers, they do not attack the rim often on offense, and they are inefficient in transition.

The team we are supporting today, Charlotte, attack the rim at a high frequency and gets to the free-throw line for reliable points because of it. They are efficient in transition, although they get limited opportunities off turnovers. Their one issue is how many shots they allow at the rim on defense, but they have been underperforming on both sides of the ball and this is a distinct buy low chance.

Perception is about as low as it will get on this team, they lost to LIU in late November, but it was expected to be a 23 point win!! 23! Grab the points on a team that shot badly, but isn't necessarily a bad team.

Projection: Davidson 76 - Charlotte 70
